Transformation to Focus

Successfully managing and growing both a large commercial bulk and premium branded wine business presents many challenges.  The key drivers of success for each are very different and it is important these differences are understood and reflected in the day-to-day management and execution to deliver on the long-term strategy.

An Azur Associate worked with the owner, executives and winemaking team to deliver a detailed review of the current business and define future objectives and opportunities.  Based on the findings and recommendations, a transformation strategy was agreed.  The outcome was a unified company vision with distinct strategic and financial targets for both businesses, with aligned management structures and team capabilities.

With this transformation complete, the focus is now on making and selling what each business does best.
